Horror of Snowless Kashmir

Horror of Snowless #KASHMIR

Oh Kashmir, where the snow should fall
But now its absence casts a mournful pall
The once-frozen landscape, now barren and cold
The horror of a snowless winter takes its hold

The mountains that once glistened with white
Now lay bare, an eerie and haunting sight
The rivers flow silently, lacking their icy sheen
The absence of snow, a tragedy so keen

The people of Kashmir, their hearts heavy with dread
For the snow is their livelihood, their hope and their bread
The silence of the land, a whisper of despair
As the horror of a snowless winter fills the air

Gone are the joyous days of snowball fights
The laughter and the wonder that once took flight
Instead, there is fear and uncertainty in the air
As the snowless winter brings a burden hard to bear

Oh Kashmir, may the snow return in all its glory
And bring back the beauty of your wintery story
May the horror of a snowless land be but a memory
As the snowfall returns to restore your winter scenery.

This refers to instances in which the male gaze is obscured or hidden behind a facade, making it more difficult to detect and critique. For example, in media texts that appear to cater to a female audience, such as romantic comedies or reality television shows targeted at women, the male gaze may st...
